On the morning of June 10th, the College of Economics and Management held the 2020 "Hall of Fame" selection ceremony and awards ceremony in the college lecture hall. College Party Secretary Li Wei, Deputy Party Secretary Yang Zhendong, Youth League Secretary Hao Xiaofei, all counsellors and the first "Hall of Fame" selected members attended the awards ceremony. The ceremony was presided over by Deputy Party Secretary Yang Zhendong.

Prof. Li Wei, the College Party Secretary, made a speech at the ceremony. She said that considering the COVID-19, no gathering activities would be held, but the school was still trying the best to leave great memory to graduates. Therefore, the "Hall of Fame" was established. Prof. Li Wei emphasized that the selection standards of "Hall of Fame" were strict, and it selected the best graduates’ representatives of the college. No other students would be arranged to attend the ceremony, but after the meeting, the outstanding deeds would be collected and displayed on the college website, WeChat public account and other new media for more students to learn.

The "Hall of Fame" is an innovative commemorative event in this year's special graduation season, and will be held for a long time in the future. The "Hall of Fame" is divided into three categories: academic, science-technology, and sports. The standards are extremely strict. Only the top one student in each major, winners of the highest awards in national science and technology competitions and the winners of sports competitions above school level can be selected. This year, there are 24 students selected as members of the first "Hall of Fame".

At the awards ceremony, Prof. Li Wei presented commemorative certificates and commemorative trophies to each selected student, and took photos one by one. The selected students expressed their excitement, and they said will inspire themselves to work harder, moveforward courageously, and constantly strive for excellence.

After the ceremony, all the selected students held up the trophy and took a group photo with the teachers.
